Engineer,I have to agree with you. Years ago when my state did not have a mandatory insurance law, I carried an uninsured motorist clause. The Insurance Industry started a media campaign about those freeloaders who didn't carry insurance and how since driving was a privilege not a right, then all drivers should be required to carry insurance.

I was against it, I told everyone that under a mandatory law the cost of insurance would skyrocket and I would still have to carry an uninsured motorists clause. I was in the minority the public showed those slackers that they had to carry insurance.
Of course the cost of insurance tripled within two years, the legislature let the insurance companies force the car to be insured instead of the driver (if you have two cars you obviously couldn't be driving them both ) so they got to double up on me, and even my uninsured motorist clause cost went up.
And if you don't have the proof of insurance with you while driving you can be fined $400 even if you have the coverage.
And oh yes, now your credit score has a bearing on your auto insurance costs.

these days? Government involved in the operation of the automobile industry. So, that means no more trucks or SUV' and more toxic battery powered vehicles. You know small kid cars. By the way have you been listening to his speeches and if you have you know that you have to make sacrifices. Of course while he throws tax payer parties in the White House every Wednesday. Imagine $1000.00 diners (that's per person). I hope Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Ms Bella Pelosi, Gueitner, and all our brainy people not to mention the Vice President appreciates this sacrifice. Next, time his promises that turned out to be lies. The Europeans loved him and his spindle legged wife. Yah, he lied to them too but eventually they also will catch on. Oh, finally to Mr Abuamirah, I did not forget to include you I just don't mention terrorist.Sleep tight and watch out for the Korean rocket falling in your neighborhood with weapons of mass destruction.
