Comparing W.O.M.F to other social networking sites! »
Posted By WINDPOMP_SHERRY 9 months ago in Science & TechnologyAs an author on various social networking sites I have become accustomed to the high standards maintained by sites like MyDigitalLife. Maybe WOMF is still in a growing phase (in diapers I would think)! To me it is quite clear that WOMFers are not having the pleasure of experiencing a dedicated social networking platform. I assume that this website is generating an income from advertising the same way as MyDigitalLife does. At least on MyDL authors get paid for blogging. There are of course processes in place and it is the authors that take writing seriously that become paid contributors to the site.
The WOMF site has no exiting competitions or promotions. Most blog sites offer a free SMS service such as Blueworld where you can send an unlimited amount of free SMS's per month (as long as you blog)
I definitely want to make writing my career and I am testing the waters by means of blogging! This user "un-friendly" WOMF site is definitely not my first choice for doing so...
