In Defense of Brandy »
Posted By Shana4Liberty 7 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsPresident Obama showcased his ignorance of world political history at the G-20 summit in London recently when he made a crack at his political predecessors’ penchant for back-room brandy sessions:
"Well, if there’s just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy, that’s an easier negotiation. But that’s not the world we live in, and it shouldn’t be the world that we live in."
I realize that every generation likes to think of itself as unique and facing problems their ancestors did not. It’s the easiest way to excuse failure. No one will blame a world leader for poorly handling a challenge that the world has never seen.

I missed it Shana. What was it about that statement that illustrated that Obama is Politically Ignorant?

I got the impression from the article, that the world was in a worse time than today, and therefore Roosevelt and Churchill had a more intense challenge than Obama and somehow that is the reality that makes Obama more ignorant.
Is the claim that Obama didn't know that WWII is a larger challenge than today's world crisis, or is the inference that if Obama thinks the world today is in a similar pickle, then he's ignorant? -

This is just plain desperate and stupid. The Right is coming off the rails after only 3 months of being out of power. You people are flat out pathetic. There is no other word. Go ahead and post more of this garbage. I am saving it all, especially the ludicrous comments.

Sorry but dont you think that press pushing Palins daughters ex friends interview shows just as much lack of morals. Both sides are guilty and thats why both sides should be voted out. Republican and Democrat. Have you ALL had enough of their games?

Maybe we should remind people of Bush's ignorance when it comes to words.
""Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream." —Presidential candidate George W. Bush, LaCrosse, Wis., Oct. 18, 2000"
and who could forget
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. ... as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'" - G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI ...

Is it OK for me to speak? Two tries and I guess I can't say anything bad about what Endo said. I wasn't even allowed to post anything good about what Goppy and Adaguy wrote.

Can I mention that I think the GOP should be shunned out of existence? Is that OK? Their minions show why.
Would everyone join me in pledging to never vote for a Republican Candidate again? Why on earth would a real thinking person want a return of what plagued this nation for the previous eight years?
Actually Shana, I think this is a pretty good article. But I do disagree that what Obama said was ignorant.-

I will join you if you also pledge never to vote for a democrat either. Both parties and their quest for power and personal game should be removed from OUR politics. Independent politians that uphold OUR constitution and serve the people is what we need.
