What does a pop star need besides the applause of the adoring dumbed down masses. Being a pop star doesn't mean you can play games with the big dogs and win.

Was the A20 summit a success? To me, it remains to be seen...I don't equate popularity with success or respect.

China seemed to be calling the shots on the NK missle launch.

Ah!
But friendship is a slightly better STARTING POINT than the absurdities of the Bush Regime..
Freedom fries anyone - though of course that pathetic little idiocy completely failed to nonplus the French who eat frites.
Losses in the wine-market were serious however.
Obama will work with people who happen to disagree with him also.
Friendship and cooperation do not have to be based on locked-step agreement.
And, BTW, if you're one of those absurdists who believe that the Queen was offended by being touched by Mrs Obama you a) know nothing about either body-language or class and b) you would not have liked to hear what the Queen said about GWB destroying her garden and frightening her flamingos with his blasted helicopters when he dropped in for a visit.
