And, as though it wasn't bad enough that Obama has allowed his administration to move the 2010 Census from out of the Department of Commerce into the White House under the authority of Rahm Emanuel, his Elbow-er-in-chief with the Chicago persuasion, something else comes down the pike to override the damage he has already done and continues to increase his destruction of America as we know and love her. And it just keeps on coming!

Obama, the ICRC Report and the Protection of Criminals
Candidate Obama unambiguously vowed to his supporters that he would work to ensure "full accountability" for "past offenses" in surveillance lawbreaking. President Obama, however, has now become the prime impediment to precisely that accountability, repeatedly engaging in extraordinary legal maneuvers to ensure that "past offenses" -- both in the surveillance and torture/rendition realm -- remain secret and forever immunized from judicial review. Put another way, Obama has repeatedly done the exact opposite of what he vowed he would do: rather than "seek full accountability for past offenses," he has been working feverishly to block such accountability, by embracing the same radical Bush/Cheney views and rhetoric regarding presidential secrecy powers that caused so much controversy and anger for the last several years.
And note the pure deceit on the part of Senate Democrats who justified telecom immunity by continuously assuring the public that the Bush officials who ordered the illegal surveillance (as opposed to the telecoms who broke the law by enabling it) would still be subject to legal accountability even once the Congress immunized telecoms. It was obvious at the time (as was often pointed out) that they were outright lying when they said this -- because all sorts of legal instruments had been invoked by the Bush DOJ (such as "state secrets" and "standing" arguments) to protect those government officials from that accountability (legal instruments Democrats knowingly left in place). And now it is Barack Obama, by employing those very same instruments, who is leading the way in making a mockery of the assurances given by Senate Democrats -- don't worry that we immunized the phone companies because Bush officials, who were the truly guilty parties in the illegal spying, will still be subject to legal accountability. -

Being someone that lives in a very corrupt state when it comes to voter fraud, this is little more than another excuse for them more fraud. I think it's time to get serious with voter fraud. To usurp an election is akin to treason so charge them, convict them and then shoot them. Why is it they can get an election right in Iraq yet our DNC controlled state leaders refuse to ask for any voter ID's or other methods to protect the honest voters? The DNC are a bunch of crooks.

the similarity may be the effect of having to put feet on the ground. imagine if the census used national guard personnel. it would look like a troop dispersal. (shrug)
i'd give them time.
it will be far more important to see how the data is crunched. that's where the games can (will?) be played.-

Nope, beavith, there has to be more to it for the Obummer crowd. Obummer has many more things on his plate that need attention before the census but he's getting the census started early. I don't buy he wants an early start just to get it right. No there's a potential liberal progressive bonanza in the census numbers and Obummer and crew intend to mine them for all their worth.

The point of a census is redistricting.

By establishing the census now, they can work to get the districts redistributed to favor "more liberal" candidates. The reason will occur is well-known in Washington.
Republican do not favor counting homeless and vagrants without addresses. They also do not want illegal immigrants counted. All these people normally do not have a legitimite address, can be counted more than once, and tend to move from area to area.
Democrats, on the other hand, favor counting anyone, anywhere, regardless of their legality, or residency.
And so, the problem becomes an unbalanced system. One side says you are not counting everyone while the other side says you are counting people who are not residents.
In summary, the reason the administration is moving up the Census is simple. They want more liberal votes for future elections. -

Maybe it all has to do with keeping his lefty enviros happy that they don't have to cut down any more trees than neccessary. Obama's ACORN has to know how many fraudulant ballots to print and distribute to each district to insure that he wins it. No use printing more fraudulant ballots than are needed.
