* I am for change (I am not George Bush);
* I am the candidate who will break through the racial barrier and show how America (and yes, you the voter) can be part of this noble uplifting effort;
* I am young and vigorous but also calm and composed (not like John McCain);
* I am a gifted speaker who will inspire you.
Experience, and in particular executive experience, was not much discussed, since Obama had less of both than any candidate for President in history.

The jury is still out on whether we can trust Obama to do the job to which he is elected, which involves far more than speechmaking So far, we see more of a permanent campaign than a functioning Executive. If that pattern continues, there will be more Americans over time who will conclude that the O in Obama is for overrated.-

The White House and some of the media are insisting that Obama was merely picking something up off of the floor
If you watch the video you will find that the claim is bogus
With one hand he is shaking the King's hand while his other hand never even gets close to the floor

I'm sure 0Bama will do 'the job' but the question is whose agenda is he following to get 'the job' done,ie, Lansky? Marx?, Pelosi?, Chairman Mao?, Lenin???.

Right now though, he appears to be a European styled Socialist. But that is for right now. Who knows what pose he will strike in 6 months to a year if not sooner.
However, I'm wondering if and when he will become an American President first and a citizen of the New World Order later. -

I find it interesting how the Obama Campaign collected all the money it did las year and still doesn't pay all or maybe any of it's bills. I have to wonder what all that money is doing now. Btw, has anyone seen a story about $72B of the TARP being unaccounted for?

They have frikkin lost it. The vast majority of the world sees Obama as a breath of fresh air. It's sad that these "Americans" cannot agree. But many of them are beginning to appear as misanthropes. I truly believe they are hurting their own cause with their words. Keeping a file. Mainly for my own amusement but the way they are going it could become a book.

They are simply taking direction from their media. Have you watched O'Reilly, Beck or Hannity lately? They are trying to incite anger and fear in their listeners. Don't they get that the campaign is over? They are going to cause a catastrophe such as occurred in Pittsburgh last week. -

Cushi, no he isn't fiddling - he is using taxpayers money to make a grand tour of Europe - millions of dollars, and lots of green house gases, while the US is basically leaderless.

Klarissa, your elementary thinking is astounding!! We do not live in this world in a vacuum! We are coming off of 8 years of impractical isolationism from our European allies, not just our enemies, and it is past time to start restoring broken relationships and forging new ones. You think like a one trick pony.
