Well, while Cheney is guaranteeing how safe he has made us, I'll guarantee this one thing: In the last 8 years we have made terrorists out of many Muslims who would have remained peaceful had it not been for the Invasion of Iraq. Does the creation and existence of more terrorists make us safer? I don't think so!

Listen to Biden and other liberals talk trash about how the US was perceived overseas. The self serving rant that Biden said and Blitzer is gaga about ignores what Cheney was talking about. The stopping of some of the surveillance techniques of terrorists is supposed to make us safer. Biden and libs are living in a fantasy land.
Adaguy is off the deep end. The terrorists had been attacking us for several administrations prior to Bush but he ignores that. Al Qaeda had declared war on us several years before 9/11 but that doesn't count. Who were the Terrorists mostly killing in Iraq? Other Muslims. Obviously adaguy has no understanding of Islam if he thinks that anything we did in Iraq created terrorists. What happened was al Qaeda made Iraq top priority and we were killing them there instead of here. Silly libs.-

more American civilians died at the hands of terrorists during Bush/Cheney than under any other President in our history.

Thanks for asking.
Because after the failure of the Clinton administration to capture and/or kill Osama Bin Laden, the Bush administration was forced to react to 9/11 by taking a proactive stance.
Which they did, namely "The War on Terror". And once the Bush administration reacted, there were no longer any more terrorists attacks on home soil.
Your mistake is that you relegate 9/11 to Bush, when it should have been Clinton's responsibility. There were numerous terrorists attacks (Kobar towers, 1st WTC attack, a navel ship attack, etc) during Clinton's administration. They never reacted properly and the problem escalated.
