Meso, you don't live in a major city do you? I live in Milwaukee. A city where for the last 8 years, we had protest after protest against President Bush for just about everything you can imagine. The Aids protesters come out of the wood work when Bush announced the funding plan for Africa. It was the biggest any American president had offered. They protested him because it wasn't enough. The city council held vote after vote attacking the war in Iraq and Afghanistan but didn't once vote addressing the Islamic terrorists or the front groups supporting them. BTW, none of the votes had any binding power. That's right, the spent money printing ballots for a general election that had no power but were a feel good lefty move. So when it comes to provoking or attacking, the left in my community has been the catalyst, not the conservatives. And we do have joyful lives. We drink all day and shoot all night.....

As for Karma, you may want to warn President Obama. If you look at how he got into office or who he hangs out with, if there is such a thing as Karma, he's in for a huge fall.

--You're talking about karma relative to how *Obama* got into office?! You're off your meds, bb.

"The Aids protesters come out of the wood work when Bush announced the funding plan for Africa. It was the biggest any American president had offered. "

Yes. Because along with giving money for AIDS medicine (which was perhaps one of Bush's only redeeming acts and should have been praised) he hand in hand demanded that ALL AIDS funding come along with the requirement that the only protective measure being taught should be "Abstinence only." So you have to ask yourself how many new cases of AIDS Bush caused with that little twist of the knife.

"The city council held vote after vote attacking the war in Iraq and Afghanistan but didn't once vote addressing the Islamic terrorists or the front groups supporting them."

Because it's obvious that they didn't support Islamic terrorists. No one does except Islamic terrorists, you jackass. They were just making it clear that they wouldn't accept torture and murder from any group.

"BTW, none of the votes had any binding power."

Isn't that too bad. Maybe people should give up ALL forms of protest when they're unhappy. I tell you what. Let's remove the second Amendment from the constitution and then I'll remind you that you're not allowed to protest by your argument.
