Even if you a strong supporter of our nations commander in chief, you still understand that many people have a strong hatred towards President Obama. He is the complete opposite of our last president and he is the first African American president in United States history. Sadly, this brings out the hatred in many.

I consider those that encourage violence against Obama and his administration (like Bachman) and those on Propeller who support her and her incitement to violence partially responsible for the assassination attempts that occur against our President's life.

A greater shame is that our Presidents enjoy greater liberty and freedom when they visit other countries. I remember Clinton walking in the streets of Africa, and images of both Bush and Obama in town hall meetings and press conferences in more open arenas than here at home. A president can not walk down the streets here in his own country. There will be no more motorcades of open vehicles here where we can see our leader as a person and not just a unapproachable figure on a tv screen.

The gun lobby - which is a "for profit" industry shill - continues to encourage the widest possible ownership of guns, regardless of the cost in human lives when these weapons are turned on fellow-citizens or frequently on people's "nearest and dearest". Is it then surprising that politicians and celebrities alike have to live under the threat of becoming victims of some disturbed individual's desire to claim his/her 15 minutes of fame. Paradoxical that Andy Warhol, who first conceived that concept should have fallen victim himself. -

But the silly libs want to blame everything on those who oppose the huge spending and growth of government that Obama is proposing. $1 trillion deficits forever. Spending more than all presidents combined. And when that rouses anger you want to blame these mentally deficient people who plot against the president on the loyal opposition. The topic of the thread is about the assassination plots against President Obama.
A tiny piece of your comment is correct 'every president has had assassination attempts.' However how many had to have Secret Service detail from the very first day they ran for President? LIKE IT OR NOT President Barack Obama is African American not just Caucasian. Many are threatened by him just because of his skin tone. -

What you forget about "the silly liberals" is that we are over 50% of the country, a good portion of us are combat trained in the military, and we consider ourselves the true patriots of this nation. Probably so, especially because he bowed to the Muslim King of Saudi Arabia and he has insulted so many people. He does not behave like a Christian either. His arrogance and conceit and his insults has made people angry (remember Jesse Jackson wanted to castrate Obama.)

Both President Bush Senior and his son are Christians who behave like Christian gentlemen. This cannot be said about Obama.
Obama has been said to be unpatriotic and disloyal to the United States.
There is still a lot of people that believe Obama is really a Muslim that was born in Kenya which is harmful.
No other Christian Presidents of the USA have ever bowed to a Muslim King of Saudi Arabia!!

Anyway look at the entertainment value of the Obama's. He's finally up in the big league, taking his turn at bat, and there ain't nothing wrong with that! He sold the dry cleaning business, and him and weasy are doing fine! lol
I'll take 2 Clintons, 1 Carter, 2Bush, and 1 Wo-Fat from Hawaii 5-OH over a 1/2 Obama any day! -
