They did it themselves then...I see what the US companies did to England...demanded, and demanded, untill they owned?

Odd, we financed , retooled, protected, repaired these oil companies sitting at home. We shared the burden as they received the benefits from tax. They over-powered our votes...over and over. And they will never pay us back.
The United States citizen got twisted, squeezed and harmed by these companies...the civil rights records where they locate...always among the worst. They have killed our mothers and chioldren...over and over with the help of a blind engineer in Detroit that brings all the blinding ingredients to Washington and walks in the front door unable to vote. Yet when they leave...we suffer over and over. Lobby? Not me! -

What would REALLY be a "formula for failure" would be if this nation were to foolishly try to adhere to the course which it has TRIED to "steer" for the last eight years.

Actually, the RICHEST nation in petroleum reserves (by a factor of about TWO over "Saudi" Arabia) is RUSSIA. They have HUGE reserves in the Crimean region, and even LARGER reserves in Siberia. (Iraq --- over which this nation has now wastefully SQUANDERED its position of economic "advantage" squabbling --- comes in only FOURTH in that "derby".) Moreover, the Russians have now rather unceremoniously DITCHED their former rather backward, impoverished "satellites", and have thereby TRANSFORMED themselves into what will surely be a FORMIDABLE economic competitor! So WISE UP, people. "We" REALLY don't have any CHOICE but than to actually GET BUSY AND TAKE THE LEAD in implementing the ALTERNATIVE energy technologies to enable "us" (and probably others as well) to WEAN "OUR"SELVES OFF of "OUR" ADDICTIVE DEPENDENCY ON OTHER PEOPLES' OIL!
