Economic Depressions Dont Exist Under Totalitarian Systems? »
Posted By Shana4Liberty 7 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsBy simply allowing the government to dominate every sector of the polity, by embracing totalitarianism, we might be able to avoid the woes of economic recession? Historical study makes such a conclusion seem ridiculous. While totalitarian economies did not suffer from “depressions”, per se, one could argue that consumers and citizens lived under a system which continuously mimicked the effects of depression.

Partially, but Obama is smart, and may back off on some policy he formerly advocated. I'm waiting to see how our relationship with the U.N. falls out.

I think his administration also might back off on some of their proposed policies because they see the potential backlash from them. They remember how George W. Bush got smacked when he went too far into partisan territory by not only leftists, but the center.
