"Some of the men and women I work with in Congress are socialists," Bachus told local government leaders on Thursday. Being the typical hypocritical republican though, Bachus actually voted for last fall's bank bailout.

There appears to be a hard-core group of republicans that are hell-bent on using the 'socialist' tag paint brush until hell freezes over. These lunatic-fringe activists will continue their Fox-news mantra until the next election and hope to drum up support for this war cry. They will not go away and will have to be taken to court for defamation. These are some (IMO) sick puppies and they all need to be neutered in a court of law.

In a related story, there appears to be a hard-core group of democrats that are hell-bent on refusing to know what "socialism" means.

Its a perpetual state of denial which was demonstrated recently in the rassmussen poll that showed that only 53% of respondents preferred capitalism over socialism.
If you don't like the label, then you might want to explore its' definition if there is any wonder why you are hearing it so often. -
