    As much as I abhor the subjugation of any group, in a sense he is right. The US goes around the world forcing "democracy" down people's throats, but then it wants to dictate what kind of democracy it should be. It cannot be the election of Hamas, and it cannot legislate sharia law.

    Democracy means that the people themselves, living in the country, decide what kind of government and what kinds of laws they want, and outsiders stay out of it.

    Do I support the subjugation of women? Absolutely not. Do I condemn it? Yes, I do. Do I want to dictate to Afghans how to live? No, I don't.
