Texas State Rep. Betty Brown apologized for remarks she made earlier in the week, in which she said the following:

“Rather than everyone here having to learn Chinese - I understand it’s a rather difficult language - do you think that it would behoove you and your citizens to adopt a name that we could deal with more readily here?

    I'm always amazed when politicians say things like this, then come out and say I'm sowwwy. Maybe thinking before you say such asinine things works best.
