France has a huge nuclear power plant program and I haven't, as yet, heard any serious problems they've had. But nuclear power does have two draw backs - radioactivity and it's long life. Instead of storing nuclear waste for future generations to deal with, is there a safe way to recycle waste into a power source cleanly? My brother-in-law works at a nuclear facility here in the US as a nuclear engineer and swears by the industry. And he is a very trustworthy man that I respect and tend to believe. He is actually in charge of their specifications department and makes sure everything is up to spec and of quality workmanship.
