    FTA:
Analysts in Seoul said that North Korea, with its threat to pull out of the six-party talks, appeared to be up to its familiar tactics of brinkmanship -- creating a crisis in order to be rewarded for helping to solve it.

"North Korea can use today's walkout as a negotiating chip with the United States in the future," said Koh Yu-whan, a profession of North Korean studies at Dongguk University in Seoul.

The North Koreans do love to play tough poker!
I guess they want to see what kind of a hand Obama will play.
How much bluff, how much substance, how much rationality, how much reaction.
I have to admit that my first response was not an anguished sense of distress that Cowboy George is not the one who is now scheduled to up the ante..

Actually I am not surprised, and it's due to the fact that the uS drug it's feet when N.Korea submitted all the information that the uS wanted on it's nuclear program. But, do not be surprised when the US again takes a position that N. Korea is totally in the pursuit of something that warrants the US intervene militarily.
The US did not patent the intelligence of humans beings.(if they could, I am sure they would hide it)..and Iran aurgued they were capable intellectually. The patent actually subjects others as acts of war.

One more reason why we should not be cutting the budget for missile defense.

They're worried. The little guy in high heels with the big hair is going to die soon, and they don't have anyone to replace him.

If you don't already have a new dictator chosen, you can't put policy in stone. Things could change.

...So they shake stuff up to see who falls where, for now.
