Self-professed nerds themselves, the primary duo behind the group, Quartz Relic and Thugmasta J , tend to shy away from the "nerdcore" label, if only because their reach extends past video game references and other nerdy fare (though the music certainly includes those as well). The group talked with MadeLoud about the genesis of the project, and what's next.
