Is further proof needed that our Constitution remains just as dead under the new, "Change you can Believe In" administration as it was under the old "They Hate us For Our Freedoms" administration? This report is beyond sickening.

Who said anything about it being the fault of the president?

That was making a point about the CONSTITUTION still being JUST AS DEAD NOW as it was under Bush,..... .Clinton,....... Old Bush,..... Reagan.................................
It was not blaming any particular president. It isn't any particular presidents fault. It might, however, be your fault, Idiot.

This story has nothing to do with the President. Its just another story of extreme police brutality. Hopefully these officers are fired and serve some jail time.

Before having any kind of opinion, I'd like to hear the other side of this story.

He was obviously roghed up, and his tale includes being tasered 4 times. Normally once is enough to get a 200 lb man to the ground. I have a feeling there is more to this than what comes out in the video.

Reasonable enough. Well then, you've got the officer's names, you've got the general location, and you've got the date it happened. Shouldn't be too hard to find some additional info. When I get the spare time, i will look as well. if you find anything in the meantime by all means post it.

It's a sign of the times. TSA, Border Patrol, they tend to be a bunch of power-drunk a-holes, and they will make your life hell if you do not kow-tow. It is power we have given up to them, thanks to fear induced by the "war on terror."

So this idiot is traveling one of the most notorious human and drug trafficking routes along the border, an area laden with border patrol checkpoints, and he refuses a simple car search. Anyone who lives in Mexico or travels these routes knows they should comply with the agents requests. Sometimes the agents will flag you through, sometimes they will do a random search. The drug dealers, human traffickers and assassins who travel these routes would also like to claim their 4th Amendment rights. I don't mind being stopped or searched. I'm thankful that they're doing such a good job.

The man did nothing wrong. We have rights for a reason, and when you start giving up any right, even those you deem unimportant, there is a huge problem. If the man had been a drug trafficker and had drugs in the car, the dogs would have got the scent and went nuts. The dogs didn't do anything to indicate to the officers that there were any illegal substances is the car. They simply did it to him because his RIGHTS were annoying them. This was a blatant violation of our rights and it should be corrected.

This guy did mind. And when he tried to assert his Constitutional right, as an American citizen, NOT to be searched without a warrant or cause, he was assaulted, tortured and mutilated. He didn't sound terribly thankful at the "good job" they did on him.

The Supreme Court has ruled these checkpoints are legal. US Border Patrol agents can operate up to 100 miles within US borders. This pastor got what he wanted and deserved, nothing more, nothing less. I showed it to my wife and friends, and we laughed our butts off. Poor little gringo gets stopped just like millions of Mexicans do every year and he won't even roll his window down. Funny stuff.
