I appreciate my generous tax refund, but I think what most of these people are worried about is the soaring national debt, which will be repaid only through excessive taxation in the future or by inflation, which will basically rob people of the buying power of their money. Either way, it's bad.

Liberals of today, like the Bush lovers of the last term, are blind to the damage being done by THEIR guy. We all need to be less like team players and start thinking objectively about all of this stuff.

I wish Obama would get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan, but that isn't happening. I thought the war was the really big issue, the one that motivated everyone to vote for the Democrats this time, because it's cost us so much. I had hopes for Obama, but those hopes are fading. How about restoring all of those constitutional rights Bush got rid of in the name of fighting terrorism? Gore Vidal mentioned that on Real Time just the other night. So, it's not just cons who are worried about the state of things.
