Tennessee believes it is acceptable to block gay and lesbian information-based websites on their schools' computers, but not block ex-gay sites. No evidence exists that people can change their sexual identity, any more than a zebra can become all white or all black. The belief that we choose our sexual identity is pure baloney and should be regarded as such.

Well remember, GOOD parents want their children to be ashamed of who they are and feel like there is no hope for them so that they will commit suicide.

TERRIBLE parents talk to their children about what is really going on in their lives and try to help them cope with whatever feelings they may be having so that they become well adjusted members of society.
At least that is what is being pushed by the right wing these days. I guess their motto now should be: "Let a school bully beat your child either straight or to death!" -

I'm sure that if the school unblocked the sites parents of "straight" children(as their parents see it regardless) will have a fit because its disallowing them the choice of what to teach their children, of course ignoring the rights of parents of LBGT parents.
