We have too many dummies here in the U.S. like Michael Moore and Jane Fonda that'll make him a cause celebre. Just like Mumia Abu Jamal.
He'll have Hollywood making an "inspiring" movie about his life as a "voluntary coast guard" (that's what Al Sharpton calls them), until his life was turned upside down by our military.

I don't believe in the death sentence for most cases. But there are some that warrant it, like terror bombing.

High seas piracy ranks right up there.
The pirates of old were executed in 2 places in New York City - one was the Battery, which is the revolutionary war era fort at the end of Manhatten & the other is at Execution Rock, a tiny island where the Long Island Sound meets the East River.
I think both these spots would be ideal for the Somali pirate to spend his final hours. -

The pirate is likely under the age of 18. Was he read his rights when he was arrested? Is he being tried as a crimanal offender? Was he manhandled? Is there an evidence chain? Is he poor and lacking other options in life?
