This op-ed is a little long but makes some excellent points.

I think you are going to have difficulty right off the bat with this story due to the source.

The American Right Wing Extremist considers the Huffington Post an "Enemy of the State".

      Seriously.

Of course, I just recently left a thread in which I gave pertinent and pithy reasons to be wary of The Washington Times - and was derided for my efforts.

A video outlining the Origins of The Washington Times is here. . . . . http://www.gorenfeld.net/book/

But I don't think anyone can deny there's an escalation of anti-government fervor among the American Right.

Of course, this is a fantastic example that points to the perverse hypocrisy of these people.

After years of watching the Bush administration - with their many duplicities, incompetence, and moral vacancy ... suddenly, the American Right are 'motivated' to outrage.

But of course, the only thing they are outraged at is the fact that they have been completely rejected by Mainstream Americans.
      .
I do believe we are in a dangerous time.

There are, in fact, Propeller members who have donned an amazing anti-American, anti-Democracy approach to their commentary.

When all moderates and level headed individuals have been booted out or left the Republican party and left it totally in the hands of illogical right wing radical nutbags, we enter a very frightening phase in our government. We as Americans who believe in level headed government must make every effort we can to see the current crop of Republicans resoundingly defeated in 2010. In order for the Republican party to survive and return to what it used to be, they must cleanse themselves. Their record during the Bush administration led us into the complete and utter economic pit we are in now and has left us entrenched in the killing fields of Iraq for the sake of Bush's illicit war.
Further, we MUST raise up and rally to convince Obama to prosecute Bush and Cheney and all responsible for the war crimes, illegal wiretapping, et al. We cannot and must not allow these stains on our great American tradition of being the example for the world. We MUST prosecute convict and imprison these criminals and defeat those in the congress who enabled them for 8 or the longest years of my 65 year old life!
