Posted By TimALoftis 8 months, 3 weeks ago in Political NewsThe latest score in the NY-20 special election, as absentee ballots are being counted, has Democratic candidate Scott Murphy ahead of Republican candidate Jim Tedisco by 178 votes, up from a 167-vote lead this morning.
The counties are either completely done or almost done with counting up the votes, and this stage of the process could be finished up tomorrow.

The 10:00 AM update this morning from NY now has Murphy up by 264 votes over Tedisco. Most pundits in the state are now saying that Murphy has this thing pretty much in the bag at this point and the final spread will be between 600 and 800 votes in Murphy's favor.

Anyone who votes Republican should be pilloried in the public square and free rotten fruit provided for onlookers to pelt them with!
I suggest that John Boehner and Mitch McConnell be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail!
