I was going to respond to this, but Goppy already said what I was thinking. I realize this will probably bring out the hardcore Fox followers, but its true that they are promoting a secessionist movement in America. I just hope that when it all comes to a head and we're facing our second civil war, that I don't end up stuck behind enemy lines. Living in the heart of the Bible Belt south, it is a concern. Even though our state went for Obama, the radical right is a strong and loud voice where I live. They've never fully acknowledged the loss of the FIRST civil war, so many are all too ready to help the south rise again. And now that we have the Fox news machine behind it, it might actually get legs and start running. If that happens, all these so-called "proud Americans" will show their true colors and those colors WON'T be red, white, and blue....they'll be pure red and full of hate.

A civil war between Conservatives and Liberals won't last very long.
Here's why...most of our military personnel are conservative Republicans, most liberal Dems don't believe in or own guns, plus Democrats are all talk and no action, they are big wussies too....Liberal/Dems will LOSE that war in very short order!-

The money sent to campaigns by troops was minimal at best. That stated we all realize that someone on a fixed budget that gives even a dollar to a particular campaign shows where there heart is located...Obama gave a clear campaign message of HOPE the problem with ANY MAN's HOPE is what it is based on...CAN IT BE DELIVERED???
Back to my first statement...I have come to realize that EVERY GOOD THING THAT I EVER RECEIVED CAME FROM THE HAND OF GOD. PERIOD! OUR GOVERNEMNT is a fooish bunch of beurocrats that have left off in realizing the TRUE HAND THAT FEEDS ME...They now look to the lost cause of Europe for advice..They are the blind leading the blind. WE ALL LOST AND WILL FALL INTO A DITCH.

I'm not even going to respond to the idiotic generalizations about liberals and conservatives because it's obvious you miss the entire point of what I said. This civil war that is brewing won't be fought between liberals and conservatives. It will be fought between Americans and radical nutcases who are about as unAmerican as you can get.

I honestly believe that few true conservatives would join such a cause. Simply being conservatives doesn't equate to being against everything America stands for. Conservative and liberal are both American, they just have different ideas about the best way to do business. However, at the end of the day, they are still American and still believe in the Constitution that governs us. I have no doubt that if such a war takes place that America will again win over the rebels forces. What I worry for is the damage done to country and citizenry through the course of it all. Civil wars never end well...

I tend to respond in kind to what is said - meaning if someone is spitting venom at me, I'm not a "turn the other cheek" kind of person and never claimed to be. However, I don't start out that way and I defy you to prove otherwise. I can and do easily debate and share opposing points of view quite frequently without it degenerating into venomous rants on either side. In fact, I quite enjoy such exchanges. The problem is that most of the hardcore - BOTH right wing AND left wing fanatics - on this site make it their mission to be as venomous as possible. So tell me, do you judge people like Endoscopy and rally-monkey and Wolfie2007 and RedRiverJ and pc25 and.....etc...using the same standard you're applying to the "liberals" here and criticize their constant venom too?
