Port Vila is the capital of Vanuatu on the island of Efate where both the American and Australian versions of Survivor were filmed. It is the second time we’ve been here for a holiday, the first being in 1995 when we stayed on Hideaway Island and traveled to the northern island of Espiritu Santo where the marvelous dive wreck of the SS President Coolidge was sunk during WWII.
