The President’s administration tax policy will also look into raising capital gains rate and dividend rates to 20% and 28%.>>>>>

It will probably go through before my house sells in WA state. And once again I'll be asked to bail out this mess, when I did nothing to cause it. Just saved my money, didn't go into debt, didn't buy a sub prime mortgage, didn't prey on anyone to get filthy rich. Minded my own business conservatively, and my reward will be paying more on my gain from selling my home, while my savings has eroded to be worthless for long term gain. Whoopee. -

A lot of it depends on your basis and that is changed by inputs to the house. Because of the economy, I wouldn't be too fearful of having to pay tax on dividends. However if you do sell your home in this economy, I don't think you will get hit too hard on Capital Gains either.

Over the last 40 or so years, the Government has been putting the bite on us taxpayers incrementally until we have gotten to this point.
We need to take back our Government. And a good start would be to get rid of one of the big two. Since the Republicans are currently out of power, they would be the easiest. Shun the Republican Party like you would the plague. And during the next four years ( more like three ) we need to promote a party to viability to take the place of the Republicans.
The surviving parties will take note and either change to representing the people or we can make sure the Democrats follow the Republicans into oblivion.
Once no longer a viable party the former members of the GOP who really care about good government can join one of the survivors. -

ASK yourself these question> Who was in POWER when this RECESSION got it's start? What is This Party doing to get us out? Is this Party helping Obama or just standing on the sideline throwing accusations? Some of you Critics looking for Obama to solve this mess in 100 days, when you can't even balance your OWN bank book. I'm not in a financial strait,but I feel for those who are. You that are sitting fine, stop acting so ugly about those who are in a pinch right now. Since this is a "Christian Country", that you so loudly screamed at Obama when he said it wasn't.

You know, people, it really simply is not possible to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. It would have been much SMARTER --- and probably in the long run much CHEAPER too --- to get OFF of "OUR" ADDICTIVE DEPENDENCY ON OTHER PEOPLES' OIL. And the TRUTH is that the TECHNOLOGICAL ALTERNATIVES to actually DO that REALLY DO EXIST!

In the AUTOMOTIVE "arena", in particular, "we" could (and SHOULD!) have LONG ago now already started building ELECTRIC / I.C.E. CHIMERA CARS (e.g. the Chevy VOLT and now also its European counterpart the AMPERE) --- in preference to trying to institute and perpetuate a CHIMERA "NATION" over in "IRAQ"! -

apologize, cater to or beg all these communist countries to be our friends. The lovable leader of our country is willing to give everything we have to these war lords. Our resources, our secrets, our dignity, and our major standing in the world is being degraded, diminished, despised, and deposited into the hands of our true enemies. The EPA is an organization that is catering to the needs of other countries. They claim we can't drill here because it disrupts our environment but the Cubans' can drill right off our coast and that is alright. We have to worry about the Green fantasy but the world is off the hook especially China. No, new jobs are being created as promised. No health care is being proposed that would lessen the tax payers burden as promised. The housing problem is being taken care of by refinancing foreclosed homes to the same people who still can't pay for them and are again getting foreclosed. The economy is plummeting while the President is spending the tax payers money running around the world pandering to our enemies. We got to get him out of there one way or the other. Presently impeachment appears to be the logical alternative. He is killing the promise of our (Liberal and Conservative) Country. The Real American-

Our president wants to make peace around the world. We need to get the respect back from other countries. Time changed now and the old mentality will create more wars. Bush did lots of mistake and Obama its starting to fix the mess.
