Many,especially in the Hispanic community mourned the loss of Selena  Quintanilla-Perez on March 31,1995. She was  a vibrant and talented singer,loved by all who met her, and was well on her way to stardom. She had just finished work on her first English-language album just prior to her death. Her dad, Abraham oversaw the direction of a biopic about her life. This article is both a review of the film,and a tribute,to a woman gone too soon.
