Columbine High School is in Columbine in unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado, near Denver and Littleton. Two students, Eric Harris (left above) and Dylan Klebold, went on a murderous spree, killing 12 students and a teacher, as well as wounding 23 others, before committing suicide.
