FTA: "The major sticking points regarding the proposed final U.N. declaration are its implied criticism of Israel and an attempt by Muslim governments to ban all criticism of Islam, Sharia law, the prophet Muhammad and other tenets of their faith."

So the answer is to put our heads into the sand and plug our ears?

If some declaration is not acceptable, don't sign it. If Israel doesn't deserve criticism, then it should be easy to defend it. If Muslim countries push for censorship, then say: no. Of course that's not easy because denying the Holocaust is already a crime in some countries, as far as I know, so if that's sacred, then why shouldn't Muhammad be? That's the price of hypocrisy. If there is freedom of speech, there should be freedom of speech.
