FBI spied on TEA Party Americans! »
Posted By RedRiverJ 9 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsEven as average Americans were planning to get out in towns and cities to demonstrate against Big Government and Big Taxes, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) surveillance was being unleashed upon them. In fact, unsuspecting Tax Day TEA Party participants were being closely watched during the demonstration PLANNING STAGES in a covert operation that began on or about March 23, 2009.

Our politicians leave our borders wide open, allowing criminals, rapists and terrorists easy entrance to our country while our FBI spies on Americans exercising their freedom of speak because they are tired of being cheated, lied to and taxed to the point it is ruining their lives.

I can see where average Americans are such a threat to this country. This had to come from the top.-

FTA-According to this unimpeachable source, a single-page confidential directive issued by the FBI headquarters in Washington, DC (FBIHQ) was sent to each of the 56 field offices located across the United States on or about March 23, 2009, instructing the Special Agents in Charge (SACs) of those offices to verify the date, time and location of each TEA Party within their region and supply that information to FBI headquarters in Washington.

I've was involved in organizing anti-war protests for a few years. FBI was sure worried about possible violence from a bunch of people who were protesting AGAINST violence, I can tell ya.
If you want to play this game, let an old leftie share some advice -
1). Assume you are always under surveillance, because you probably are.
2). The feds are not content just to peek through your keyholes and steam open your mail. They are big on entrapment. So pay attention if anyone in your group is trying to entice you into an "action" which would involve any sort of violence or property damage - they are quite possibly looking to suck you into something they can later call a violent conspiracy. Remember, it's always the cop who says he can get the dynamite.
3). If they can't get you with the tactics above, they may well just participate in your demonstration, and lob a rock or bottle at a cop as a way to start a violent confrontation, discredit you and give the uniformed cops an excuse to bust your heads.
We don't agree politically, I know that, but once you have your turn in this particular barrel it may be that we find we have more in common than we thought. -

FTA-The source stated this correspondence termed the TEA parties “political demonstrations,” and added that the dissemination of the directive was very tightly controlled. “Not all agents were privy to this correspondence,” stated the source, who compared the dissemination to an older “Do Not File” classification.

Training government-issued cameras on ordinary citizens, many of whom brought their children to an estimated 600 Tax Day TEA Parties is a page torn out of George Orwell’s 1984 and makes the term “God Bless America” more meaningful than ever.
Were they looking for all of those "right wing extremists" described in the Homeland Security report? -

It truly amazes me when people support our government's policies when it violates the rights of others, then they get upset when the tables are turned. I am no fan of the idea that its OK to do this to our opponents but not to me. Hogwash, its not OK for this to happen to any American!!! -

I am not condoning these actions, but maybe they were looking at such "right wing extremists" as the KKK, The Aryan brotherhood and others like them. They might also have been looking for tax evaders. I gladly pay my 22.8% and my GF gladly pays her 35+%. and we each make way less than 100k. do I want to give the ubber rich a tax break, not likely.-

That shouldn't be hard to do
Just look at the people in the current administration and anyone they nominate for a position
The "the ubber rich" as you call them are paying 35% also - same as your GF
And don't look now but YOUR taxes are going up when the Bush tax cuts expire in 2010
Cuts in tax rates:
27% rate goes to 25%
30% rate goes to 28%
35% rate goes to 33%
38.6% rate goes to 35%
The existing 10% and 15% rates remain unchanged
Sunset Rule: Without further action by Congress, rates will revert to 15%, 28%, 31%, 36%, and 39.6% after 2010. The 10% rate would disappear altogether. -

Actual instructions to the media by the far left:
Reply
Dear Traditional Media,
Pretty soon, some of you will be assigned to cover the teabagging that goes on at one of the FOX Nutwork's froofy-sounding-but-actually-deadly-serious Tea Parties.
As you may be aware, the teabaggers are quite certain that someone -- maybe even someone who doesn't even like tea -- is going to show up and disrupt the tea-ing and/or bagging, thereby singlehandedly causing them all to look ridiculous. It will fall to you to report on whether this happened, and how it turned out.
In case you are chased off from the event, as was the case here, I'd like to take a moment to prepare you to file your story even if none of the teabaggers will talk to you. Here are the possibilities:
1. If nobody disrupts anything (the most likely scenario, since nobody has yet figured out why they would need to disrupt people who've decided to get together to wave teabags), the teabaggers would have you know that it wasn't disinterest that kept the event peaceful, but rather that their patriotic might scared the evildoers away.
2. If someone does show up and disrupt something, the teabaggers would have you know that evildoers want to "silence" them. Depending on how things develop from there, two possibilities present themselves:
* If someone shows up and disrupts things and the teabaggers manage to subdue them, the teabaggers would have you know that the story is about how tough they are.
* If someone shows up and disrupts things and the teabaggers find themselves overwhelmed, they'd have you know that the story is about what victims they are.
3. If someone shows up and reflects poorly on the event (i.e., neo-Nazis show up in uniform) and the teabaggers are afraid to do anything about it, they'd have you know that the neo-Nazis were really liberal plants.
So please do be aware that it's a perfect win-win for them, insofar as douching your day away as a teabagger can be considered a win. Write it down now so you can knock off early on teabagging day. -

You seem very obsessed with Timoth McVEIGH (correct spelling).
I just wanted to let you know that yesterday was the 14th anniversary of the bombing.
As usual, a service was held at the OKC memorial, just like every year since the bombing. To my knowledge, Timoth McVEIGH's name has never been mentioned at these services, only the evil that occurred that day. Also not mentioned is McVeigh's political affiliation or specific idealogies.
What that service focuses on are the names and lives of 168 people that died that day. It focuses on the families left behind. It focuses on the bravery of the firemen, policemen, doctors, nurses and sundry volunteers who stepped up to the plate that day. It focuses on the unity and faith and courage of the people in the great state of Oklahoma on that dark day.
We choose to commemorate the lives of the victims of the bombing. We choose to gather to us the peace and tranquility of the memorial site.....168 chairs around a reflecting pool with the lone silhouette of the survivor tree. We choose not to use Timothy McVeigh as a weapon against those who we disagree with. We choose not to revel in the horror of what happened that day so that we have a talking point on something as insignificant as a Propeller blog.
Obviously, you choose a different strategy. But by all means elevate your hero.-

Along with the tragedy that occurred in OKC on April 19 was the previous slaughter of innocent men, women, and children by paramilitary ATF and FBI agents at Waco, Texas.
Reply
April 19 is a day to mourn both events.
BTW, McVeigh learned his destructive skills from the U.S. military. It doesn't speak well of the military that they didn't know how unstable he was. How the FBI will learn who is dangerous from simply looking at the demonstrators at peaceful events like tea parties is mysterious. Since I possess a copy of the U.S. Constitution, I am considered an extremist worthy of scrutiny by HS Napolitano.

As for your other comments of ignorance, please explain to me a few simple questions. First, if Bush was such a terrible leader, why does President Obama continue his plans in Afghanistan and Iraq? Secondly, why when Bush, Clinton or Bush 41 ran a deficit, it was described as terrible, evil or just this side of the Anti-Christ but when President Obama triples the national debt and devalues our currency, it's a great thing? And lastly, when will this guy realize his conduct and actions have only helped to weaken America and strengthen those who wish to do us harm? By bowing to Saudi kings and shaking hands with guys like Chavez, he's elevating those third world dictators to equals with the president of the United States. It is as bad as the Chamberlain-Hitler meetings. It made Hitler and his thugs equal to that of England and the United Kingdom.

"This may be some of the funniest **** I've read in ages. It goes like this: we are so scared of a couple dozen wingnuts getting together to teabag, that a shadowy conspiracy of saboteurs and billionaires are conspiring to disrupt their kinky sex parties powerful protests.
So we essentially have a bevy of pundit-wannabes courageously spurring brigades of like-minded folks into a new American revolution that will stem back the tides of socialism unleashed by the foreign-born communist and gun-grabber in the White House, all of it in the face of a powerful cabal fearful of what might happen if some people got together to wave tea bags. Or something like that -- coherence isn't their strongest suit. Neither is reality.
For the next 9 days, the left-wing blogosphere and left-wing clueless pundits will hammer away with their unreality-based Tea Party smears.
And on the ground, the tax-subsidized and Soros-subsidized troops are going to try and wreak havoc every way they can. Many readers and fellow bloggers have seen signs that ACORN may send in ringers and saboteurs to usurp the anti-tax, anti-reckless spending, anti-bailout message.
Soros? ACORN? Huh? Thers explains:
Why must [George Soros] be constantly spending his vast ill-gotten fortune in a secretive and shadowy fashion in order to spread rumors and lies that there is some shadowy secretive conspiracy behind the actions of political opponents? He's always doing that. Fortunately Malkin is above such tactics, and duly provides proof of the Soros-ACORN sabotage-scheme, in the form of a link to a blog that links to a message board where a random commenter says that ACORN is up to no good. CASE CLOSED. I mean, obviously this is not just paranoid gibberish; the commenter certainly sounds like she's very calm, collected, and sensible:
Groups like ACORN and CODEPINK are nothing but Anti-American criminal organizations. BEWARE. I just stocked up on Pepper spray at http://shop.christmascentral.com/... JUST IN CASE
And, yes, that is a real link to an online Christmas Ornament shopping site, one that does indeed sell pepper spray, although, regrettably, this pepper spray is not holiday-themed.
Ahh. Ok. So the "signs" some people are "seeing" are in reality the paranoid voices in their heads. Seems pretty airtight a case, no matter how much ACORN's director says, "huh?" Playing dumb would certainly be part of ACORN's dastardly plan! And it would similarly be part of the White House's plan, which according to the delusional wingers, is also in on the plan with Nixonian schemes to disrupt the winger gatherings and deprive the world of fantastic comic relief.
Now if there was truly a nefarious ACORN/Soros plot to disrupt the teabaggers, I'd be the first to fight back against those efforts. Why deny ourselves such comedy gold? Every time they gather in public places, we get material like this to work with:-

So build your papier-mâché tea bags, wingers! We can never laugh enough at your expense.
Still, there's something a little bit off kilter about this whole craziness, and I think Atrios figured it out:
I was talking with BooMan tonight about how dumb and empty right wing bloggers are these days. I suggested that the equivalent on our side would have been if in 2003 left wing bloggers spent all their time talking about their designs for the giant puppets they were going to bring to the anti-war demonstrations.
Yup, that's it. Back in our early years, we had better things to do with our time, like organizing for upcoming elections -- the things that actually matter in our modern political system. But the wingers have never been much for electoral organizing, what with their dreams of becoming the next Rush-Limbaugh style media sensation. Their single-minded obsession with punditry leaves little room for the hard work of fighting for an electorally viable Republican Party. And given that it's their ideology specifically that has made them toxic to the voters, they'd have to come up with ideas and whatnot. That wouldn't exactly play to their strengths, know what I'm saying? I mean, their best idea right now is to wave tea bags.
So the poor saps at the Next Right -- the closest thing on the Right they have to what we were doing back in 2002 -- are pretty much ignored and marginalized, while the rest of the conservative netroots is reading from Code Pink's playbook, working hard to replicate their stunning failure at relevancy.
Bizarre, but hilarious.

As an adolescent, I was shipped off to a conservative Quaker boarding school.
The gray haired folks that I rebelled against at the time felt compelled to speak out against war.
In all other ways I would lay odds that those folks where more conservative than many of the folks that post here.
I am talking about plain garbed farmers (no vain collars or zippers) that did not think much of music but would take the time to let there voice be heard when it came to their tax dollars being spent on war.
Those guys are used to being on government lists.
My religion teacher spent world war 2 in solitary confinement, when they found out that he had made a chess board out of toilet paper they took the toilet paper away from him.
He would quote from a stack of different Bibles and if anyone where to make the mistake of falling asleep in his class they where likely to awake with their feet being washed.
They where tough sons of bitches and they have been for a long time.

"Listen to what I am saying,” stated the source during an interview with Doug Hagmann, founder (NEIN). “The Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Assessment that is receiving so much attention is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, and the true patriotic citizens of this country are on the Titanic. This is what bothers me. But is goes far beyond that assessment. There have been very significant changes made over the last few years that redirect the focus and assets of the intelligence community internally. These changes have greatly accelerated under this administration, and the threats have been redefined to include those who used to be patriots. It’s not only chilling but absolutely insulting to God-fearing Americans.”
This is about the funniest garbage I've read lately.
Illegal wiretaps were okay ?? The suspension of Habeus Corpus was okay ?? Are these the God fearing Americans who used to be thought of as Patriots ??
Please buy a clue somewhere. This crud has been going on since Hoover was in charge and dancing around in his ladies attire. But back then it was okay, because he was going after the commies.
America can survive terrorist threats, it can survive taxation, it can't survive the undermining of the constitution that has been happening with ever greater intensisty.
There are patriots on both sides of the political arena, the true patriots hate what is happening to our country, not just by the political parties but by the forces outside of this nation that inject their poison into our freedoms, that try to say America must resort to what the Fascist and Communist leaders did in order to maintain her freedoms.
If you really love America you will stop playing politics before it is to late.-

Perhaps instead of listening to morons like Wisconsin's own Russ Finegold, you actually learn about the supposed wire taps. They were originally set up to listen in on calls from suspected terrorists from suspected terror nations. Now unless the Congress changed the laws to permit listening in on all calls and emails this hasn't changed. As for arrests without rights, it continues to this day. As for free speech and gun rights, both are more at risk under this guy than at anytime before. Hoover or anyone else wanted to see America succeed. Over the last 100 days, I'm not sure what drives the President's actions.
