Our politicians leave our borders wide open, allowing criminals, rapists and terrorists easy entrance to our country while our FBI spies on Americans exercising their freedom of speak because they are tired of being cheated, lied to and taxed to the point it is ruining their lives.

I can see where average Americans are such a threat to this country. This had to come from the top.

FTA-According to this unimpeachable source, a single-page confidential directive issued by the FBI headquarters in Washington, DC (FBIHQ) was sent to each of the 56 field offices located across the United States on or about March 23, 2009, instructing the Special Agents in Charge (SACs) of those offices to verify the date, time and location of each TEA Party within their region and supply that information to FBI headquarters in Washington.

        George W. Bush's domestic spying

"Only months after the events of September 11, 2001, President George W. Bush signed a presidential order in 2002 which "secretly authorized the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on Americans and others inside the United States to search for evidence of terrorist activity without the court-approved warrants ordinarily required for domestic spying, according to government officials," James Risen and Eric Lichtblau reported in the December 15, 2005, New York Times. What an incredible hypocrite, your whining about the FBI screaning thousands of people openly calling elected officials Facist and Socialist, a sure sign of insanity and delusion and brainwashing by right wing militia level joe the plumber ignorance.

These coward traitors at tea bag rallies organized by faux noise and financed by right wing billionaire mogals for the purpose of keeping their billions intact, and you idiots were out there like good little brown shirt lemmings hoping for some warm trickel down.

You are a bunch of alamist morons with lots of guns. This is the aniversary of Tim McVey, the poster child of you right wing psycopathic cowards, a military trained brainwashed white trash uneducated idiot with lots of guns and no brains, he couldn't even get a job at walmart, but he was out murdering hundreds of innocents to preserve the power of billionaire, brainwashed by 5 years of Drug Limpboy on armed forces radio, all extremist con all the time.

You cons don't represent this country, you are a bunch of traitors, loyal only to your con ideals, you want this country to fall into facism, where billionaires decide who lives or dies, while making profit off Haliburton. Bunch of lockstepping trailertrash.

Your coordinated ranting and raving is being heard by a lot of people who honestly believe that congress is totally out of control when it comes to taxes and new spending.

People like you are terrifying because you have the power of the press behind you, and this is supposed to be America where there is freedom of speech.

These folks probably thought the whole USA was a free speech zone. Won't they be upset to find out that's not how it works.

No whining here, just stating the facts.
What is very amazing to me is you antibrainwasher and our congress seem to miss the point here. Our FBI was told to watch the tea party's while we have terrorist walking across our borders. There are 35 terrorist camps in the USA thanks to that kind of naive thinking.
I will refrain from calling you names, it suits you tho. It's not my style to attack other members. I have enough material attacking congress and the morons running our nation.

--No. You're "just" sputtering more phony outrage in a sad, desperate attempt to smear Obama. And as usual, we know you're 100% full of HORSESH*T because your "concern" about what your government was up to was all but non-existent when Bush was in office. Anyway, I've demonstrated time and time again that you cons here are like a bunch of crack addicted hookers in the sense that you'll drop to your teabagging knees in a heartbeat to get or keep a Republican in power. Yes, America sees right through filthy lying tax cut wh*re cons. We see right through each and every one of your lies.

and now that Obama is in the Big Chair, your concern is 'non-existent?'

tangy, as I stated elsewhere, when cons revere a tubby, zit-poppoing weasel like Rush Limbaugh ( I guess we're suppose to have forgotten this loser was promoting "Operation Chaos" just one year ago?) NO ONE believes anything you people say. When will you people accept that America is onto you and that we don't believe you after you publicly admit that your sole purpose for living is to attack whatever Obama says or does? You've screwed yourselves by lying and flipflopping to stay in power so many times that even if you really *did* have some legitimate grassroots movement over somethihng, you're like the boy who cried wolf now--whatever cons say or do is now suspect because you habitually lie. ;-0

I wasn't part of that. Also, if Rush walked up to me and said hello I would be like "who the hell are you". It seems to me that you know more about the guy than most of the "cons" on here that you say are his followers.
"NO ONE believes anything you people say"
I hope everyone of the dems who were the tea parties read your words and remember that in the next election.
"after you publicly admit that your sole purpose for living is to attack whatever Obama says or does"

When have I lied to you Meso? If anyone is lying here it is You lying to yourself about the dems who were at the tea parties.
Seems that once again everything you said was pointless and had nothing to do with the conversation.

One more time. The same terrorists were walking across our borders 4 years ago. 3 years ago. And two years ago. So don't tell me that NOW wasting our time spying on Americans is bad, when before, you didn't care because you had "nothing to hide." Apparently you don't like being ont he receiving end of what the rest of us have been getting.

Only when your party isn't in power does the government bother you. Bush is the one who handed over the biggest power grab of a presidency in history to Obama. Don't blame Obama for using the power Bush stole. Blame yourself for not seeing the damage Bush did to the presidency.

Yep, they were wrong in both instances. Sadly, you won't see any Con's saying this. They were all for spying on greenpeace, anti-war groups, and other protests during Bush's term. In Fact, many of them(even lots of those crying foul here on prop right now) were loving the fact that liberals were being spied on for no reason. They reveled in it and said things like "Love it or leave it".

Typical con mentality really. Hypocritical to the core, and could care less about anyone who isn't like them, and doesn't believe in the same things they do.

So sick of cry baby republicans who are so dense that they can't figure out why something happens to them. when they were the ones who instigated the policies they are crying about being used on them... It's like the Overall GOP IQ has dropped 50 points since Obama took office, they can't even remember what they were doing just 6 months ago now...

Where you are wrong is saying that we supported the spying on the protesters during the last administration.
You should also note that the dems who were angry at the Bush administration that are now ignoring the fact that the Obama administration are just as big of hypocrites as the republicans you are crying about.

--Please...We know cons didn't care because all you were saying back then is that Bush was doing what was necessary to keep us safe...blah blah...And, tangy, the people you supported DESTROYED millions of White House email and screwed the Justice Department beyond all recognition. I don't approve of domestic spying anymore now than I did then but Bush and Cheney must pay for what they've done. It's not just the lying and the spying--it's the cover up also. And cons behave as if these missing emails and White House log entries are just some unimportant details. How can cons behave as if Bush has done nothing wrong while he's destroying the evidence of his wrongdoing? Cons?

I delete my emails everyday. Especially ones that involve any kind of sensitive information. That's just common sense. Not to mention the fact that your computer runs better when it is not all cluttered up.
Also, I never saw any articles on here about Bush spying on anyone so that argument flops too.
To be completely honest though, I should not even be answering you as I am not a "con" and apparently that's who you are speaking to.

"Are You Terrified, Like the White House Is, By Quakers?
Liz and Beatrix were repulsed by the news of the White House spying on the Quakers. They found it profoundly risible but abysmally distressing, that this president is so psychotically paranoid, as were Hitler and Nixon, that he would order the Quakers be put under surveillance. How pathetic, Liz and Beatrix thought."

"George Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld and Alberto Gonzáles each is the 21st Century version of the Nazi Verbindungsmann, or police spy. Funny, Judy mentioned, how the letters 'dung' are in that word, but not funny that we, the people, and the Quakers, are being spied on by our own government. Our own government rendered unrecognizable unless viewed through the prism of fascism and the Nazi mentality."

                      "Goosestep Mentality and the Führerprinzip
Our Führer, who wants dictatorial, absolutist powers, also requires unquestioning obedience of inferiors, and, like Hitler, has openly revealed his disdain for democracy. Á la Hitler, all power and authority flow from the top in this administration, and like Hitler, Bush wants to transform a democracy into a totalitarian state while hypocritically expounding the virtues of democracy in the Middle East, on which he decided to execute a 21st Century Crusade.
Hitler, Bob said, removed all remaining limits on his power and suppressed all remaining political opposition, as Bush has attempted to do with Congress and the Supreme Court and is now doing even with innocents such as the Quakers."

Um...I don't remember you being upset before about this? In fact I remember you and your ilk saying that "if you have nothing to be ashamed of, they should be able to spy all they want" when Bush was spying on American citizens.

Why now is this unacceptable to you? Could it be because you are a hypocrite?

                        LOL, join the club!

I've was involved in organizing anti-war protests for a few years. FBI was sure worried about possible violence from a bunch of people who were protesting AGAINST violence, I can tell ya.

If you want to play this game, let an old leftie share some advice -

1). Assume you are always under surveillance, because you probably are.

2). The feds are not content just to peek through your keyholes and steam open your mail. They are big on entrapment. So pay attention if anyone in your group is trying to entice you into an "action" which would involve any sort of violence or property damage - they are quite possibly looking to suck you into something they can later call a violent conspiracy. Remember, it's always the cop who says he can get the dynamite.

3). If they can't get you with the tactics above, they may well just participate in your demonstration, and lob a rock or bottle at a cop as a way to start a violent confrontation, discredit you and give the uniformed cops an excuse to bust your heads.

We don't agree politically, I know that, but once you have your turn in this particular barrel it may be that we find we have more in common than we thought.

Aren't you all the same people who defended Bush's domestic spying policy tooth and nail with the defense that if you have nothing to hide, then you shouldn't worry if you're being watched, listened to, and spied on?

Now that you and your buddies might be the targets, you're not so quick to throw out those civil rights you all like to complain about, huh? lol

This had to come from the top.>>>>

Does that mean that spying on the quakers & other anti war groups "had to come from the top?" ;)
