Wiki. A positive mindset is medicine to your health. If you think yourself physically and mentally able you are more healthy than you would be if you have a negative mindset. Good Article.

I agree ... I think that America seems much healthier since we, as a nation ... eliminated the negative state of Neo-Conservatism from the White House.

Although ... there appears to be a groundswell of people who ... accustomed to dysfunction ... are agitating for a continuation of dysfunction.

Hey, when you grow up in a dysfunctional environment ... dysfunction is all you can relate to.

I try to help my fellow Christian Conservatives accept joy ... but it's a long, difficult road. Of course ... it doesn't help that they have been told they are sinners and are going to hell ... they seem to have such self loathing.

This of course, makes them easy targets for the Right Wing Media, such as Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck ... and the other Dis-Infotainter Egoists.

I've been positively wishing for a Benz to show up in my driveway and it hasn't happened. A healthier life is acheived through healthier actions and not thought. The same is true for my non-Benz--it will come through action, hardwork and pay... not "happy thoughts"--sorry Petter Pan.

Goppy...Your post isn't really positive is it? In fact, it's criticsm. This is an article about positives... let's keep it that way. Thank you... think of things that make you happy and it will produce more happy thoughts, just the same as a negative thought leads to more negative thoughts. It's the Law of Resonance. As for Kahntender01, you revealed the problem in your post... your subconscious belief is that one can only acquire wealth through hard work. If one is following their passions, the time they spend "working" doesn't seem like work, and they are richly rewarded for the level of mastery of their passion (if that's what they want and believe). The combination is what's important. Good thoughts to all! Just try it.
