The Times should receive some kind of an award for the biggest newspaper in the world, who cut their own throats and are about to place themselves into bankruptcy. All because they don't understand that spewing left wing tripe 24/7 is turning everyone off. BYE BYE NYT!

That's a pretty good scam. The amount and creativity of the BS they print was obviously believed. But all that prize money won't keep them out of bankruptcy. Now my respect for the people at Pulitzer has been corrupted.

Good for the NYT, But there will always be people who only want to hear what they want to hear. For them we have Al Jezera or Fox News.

I think one's evaluation of the NYT really depends on the issue. I think it covers many stories in a manner that is deserving of the prize.

The NYT may also demonstrate a clear bias that guides their coverage--or lack thereof--on some issues, and they've apparently fallen into the trap with most of the rest of the news media on such issues--instead of reporting they've possibly turned to opinion diffusion and they may cherry-pick editorials and letters-to-the-editor based on bias.
