The people of New York will have marriage equality eventually. If New Jersey and New Hampshire pass laws this year, the impetus will be on New York to follow suit. The legislature in Vermont went so far as to override their governor's veto; the legislature in New York has a receptive Governor willing to make the moves that Republicans cannot or will not accept. Fairness and equality for all!

Because you were raised with a deep prejudice against people who are different then you, obviously. It doesn't affect you in any way, shape or form. For you to understand the issue at hand is equal rights and still be upset by the idea that there are gay relationships in this country and there have always been gay relationships throughout history and that those relationships are going to finally become legally equal to any other relationship baffles me.

Obviously, Ghouliani, is ignoring the wishes of the majority of New Yorkers when he is against gay marriages, positioning himself with the far right, once again, lol. And Patterson's handling of Hillary's senate seat sealed his fate.
