              Given that the blue states are net supporters of the red states, I think the red states would have far more to worry about. California is the richest state in the union and we generate far more federal tax dollars than we ever get back. The poorest states in the union are all reliably red and suckling at the Feds teets. Ironic that those who whine the most about socialism stand to lose the most if they got what they wanted.

                  At least their grandstanding leaders did. But even there, it was pathetic. Like Jihndal. We're going to refuse the bail out money, that is we will accept 5.4 billion but not the 50 million for the school program. Pure genius. None of them have refused the total package, just small portions for political purposes. What is so amusing about this is that they think they are sending some sort of message and they are, its just not the one they believe their sending. The message that they are sending is we are buffoons and were not afraid who knows it.
