"...The US and other western countries decided to boycott the meeting over concerns that it would be used as a platform for criticism of Israel...."

Hmmmm. So if you think your side is going to be systematically trashed, you don't show up?
Of course, boycotting makes a "statement." The impact of which is?-

irony.
the irony that the non-white people of the world will see white-dominance preciously refusing to attend a universal discussion on racism because it is not framed according to its liking. the irony that the boycott which is supposed to kill this conference has inadvertently promoted it and elevated it to world-wide headline news. the irony that this event would ordinarily have passed by unnoticed had the boycotting nations simply attended after all :\ -

It should be noted that the nations that marched out represent a rather small minority of human beings - and a group which itself has a long history of racism in the world. The overwhelming majority of mankind can see rather clearly that Israel is indeed a racist state.

Perhaps the most ironic of all is that the Israelis themselves openly admit their racism. How surreal to see the zionist pressure organizations in the US and some western european countries enforcing their racist political correctness on western governments!

What a failure as a human being you must be. This is an anti-racism meeting and as such is no place for the actions of the Iranian President who uses any forum to blast Israel. It's no wonder that his people are getting tired of him. In the world of diplomacy a little class is necessary in order to show that you are above the world's pettiness. The Iranian President has shown time and again that he just has no class. With that said, I propose a UN conference in which the the topic is "stupid world leaders and their effect world stability". In such a forum, there wouldn't need to be those that walk out as they can heckle the addle minded such as Ahmadinejad and have a good time doing it.

So should you!!! But a pot should never call a kettle black. Racism exists all over the Muslim world. Gender Apartheid is rampant and non Muslims are treated as second and third class citizens. Muslim racism is well documented in all 55 Muslim countries. You want to blast Israel as racist? Start in your own backyard. Shira Law is hardly the bill of rights.
