Back in 2008, prior to the approval of the compromised budget package there was a proposal to approve tax increases using a majority vote. By simultaneously decreasing one tax and exchange for another and then increasing fees, the Union-Democrat Political Machine attempted to increase taxes to feed their hunger for other people’s money.
