Welcome to the USSR. Our media are at least as effective as the Soviet media in propagating only state propaganda. Newspapers like the Washington Post are no different than Pravda at the height of the USSR.

On-line news and opinion is now American samizdat - the only place where truth about our military empire and corrupt oligarchies can be found.

  i suspect even online in some sectors, perhaps also here at propeller, the subject matter makes some of those who hold editorial sway break into uncomfortably cold sweats

  It's amazing how much Hyperbola hates. She hates Israel, she hates the country that she lives in, she seems to hate just about everything. It must be very depressing to have to live with such hate. Yes, mental illness is a disease. It would seem to us all that the only place where truth about our military empire and corrupt oligarchies can be found is from Hyperbola.     You say Hyperbola "hates" - well, so do I - and just what do I hate?
    I hate the fact that my network and cable news must be SCRUBBED
    of any story that might possibly be construed as negative regarding
    Israel .............it's people OR it's policies.
    This is AMERICA!
    We print any number of stories critical of our own government.......
    .....why can't we be allowed to hear various sides to a story concerning Israel?
    The sad reality is you should check out the Israeli, or other online or
    international media - because you WILL NOT find it here!
