apparently Pelosi, Reid, and Rockefeller didn't onject on the grounds that they thought is constituted torture...........members of the Congressional group were concerned if the methods to be employed were harsh enough to obtain the results they were seeking.......you know what you people need to take this up with Pelosi, Reid, Rockefeller, Biden, Dodd, Frank and all including the O man who being a Senator in 2005

What do you call torture? What is your definition? Do you consider what the Mossad uses for interrogation acceptable? It's far worse than anything we've ever done. Do you consider what Jordan, Syria, Iran, Turkey, Russia or Saudi Arabia does acceptable, because again, it's far worse.

Our methods are more mind game than physical torture. No glass tubes in the penis or ground glass in the food. No gasoline or other contaminant in the drinking water. No tooth extractions or fingernails being ripped out. No bones being broken. No partial hangings. By the way, for the liberals here, these are used in Cuba at one time or other. These were methods learned from the Soviet Union as effective interrogation tools.-

And they've abandoned all those techniques, including waterboarding because they've discovered that torture doesn't reveal useful intelligence, but almost always reveals lies to get the torture to stop.

Waterboarding was considered torture by the US in the past and people were prosecuted for waterboarding as a war crime in Vietnam among other places. Seems hypocritical to now claim it's not torture. -
