and according to the CNS (catholic news service) there are 9 catholic republican senators and 42 republican congressmen. rabid? who knows? but if you think Kerry is a "rabid" catholic, you ain't paying attention.
there are also 2 buddhists and 1 muslim in the congress. of course both of them are on the dem side, where all the real diversity takes place. (and please, don't try to come back at me with some stupid argument about the GOP being more diverse. cause that's total bullsh*t and everybody with a brainstem knows it)
