both political parties today, and probably for the last century, were and are equally corrupt. as truthiness says, what albright did is always wrong, but the GOP controlled congress when albright was confirmed. so both parties were at fault in not condemning both albright's position and ignoring the genocidal effects of the sanctions on iraq.

clinton also bombed the majority of iraq's infrastructure, just to be sure, causing even more deaths.
