It's getting worse by the hour from what I hear from some inside sources. Seven became twenty became sixty became eighty dead in Mexico overnight. It's already incubating worldwide if it's that easily spread human to human.

The strain has never been seen before and is raising fears of a possible pandemic across North America.
The CDC's acting director Dr. Richard Besser announced Friday that an additional child in California tested positive for the swine flu, bringing the total number of U.S. cases to eight. All of the U.S. patients have recovered from the flu."
I hope this time around they respond much better and quarantine....this type of virus can mutate from animal to animal and person to person -

The virus has mutated from swine to humans, thus making all humans susceptible, regardless of whether they consume pork or have any contact with swine.

I not trying to be the guy that is yelling that the sky is falling but when one looks at some of the symptoms like a sore throat and a cough we can likely assume that this is being spread by airborne particles which makes places with high human traffic levels not the prefered places to be, as in an airport or any transportation hub. The idea of trying to screen people at such places seems like a waste of time since most viral infections have an incubation period before showing symptoms so those who are hosts may be spreading this around the country or world merely by being carriers of the virus. It always amazes me how most health departments or agencies are a little slow on adopting a policy of asking people to wear a simple face mask when there are outbreaks like this, it is simple, it is cheap, and in most cases it works

Lets hope they get it under control since I'm a little scepticle of both vacines or tamiflu, If I remember right there were some complications with it when it was last used on a larger scale. -

I had relitives when I was young who had TB.T B is mostly airborne I'v never heard of it being spread by food ,or food handling. Most people survived it by following Drs. orders, some times relocating to a drier climate.T B doesn't have to be fatal.

The WHO has dispatched a team to Mexico, where the flu has killed 68 and sickened more than 1,000. Another eight people got sick in the US.:
