So you draw the line right after "walling" and making people feel as though they're drowning. Even though it was necessary to keep doctors on hand ro resuscitate anyone who might have been about to die.
Good to know where your "morals" kick in.-

Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) and Zubaydah had ‘expressed their belief that the general US population was ‘weak,’ lacked resilience, and would be unable to ‘do what was necessary’ to prevent the terrorists from succeeding in their goals'

Both KSM and Zubaydah understood the far left very well didn't they?
Were they correct about you Beau?-

And how exactly does torture prevent terrorists from succeeding in their goals?

How HAS torture prevented terrorists from succeeding in their goals?
Torture is not and was not necessary. And it's immoral.
If you want to sacrifice your ideals in favor of some unknown and unseen measure of security, that's all you. And when the U.S. government mistakenly decides you or a member of your family is a terrorist, throws you in prison on the basis of hearsay with no other evidence and without a trial, and waterboards you 183 times, I will speak out against it.
I'd hope you'd do the same for me.-

Several of those memos have leaked
Do you support releasing the rest?
"throws you in prison on the basis of hearsay with no other evidence and without a trial"
And who did they do that to - KSM and Zubaydah?
Why do you want to convey the same rights as US citizens to enemy combatants?
Might surprise you but after McVeigh was convicted I would have supported the very same treatment for him if they thought he was part of a larger group planning more attacks on innocent civilians
So if you are going to fly planes into buildings or bomb buildings - would I speak out if you were convicted then received the same treatment to reveal other planned attacks - No I wouldn't
