This is a real problem as foreign countries subsidize or give various types of preferential treatment to their farmers and manufacturers and allow businesses to come in and hit and run as they use slave labor just long enough to get their economies moving before they leave and hit and run another poverty-stricken country.

It's the same thing we've seen in states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Texas over the years, which suffered severe depressed periods due to the loss of industry.
