Positive thinking improves mood and positive affirmations, whether from prayer or secular practice, improve one's ability to assimilate and make connections among data. So it seems logical that it would diminish memory loss. Worry is obsession and doesn't solve the problem. It actually short-circuits the brain.

At 62 I was becoming worried about my short term memory loss. I talked to my Dr. about it and he sent me to a Neuropsychologist. I was given a series of tests over four hours and the results were that I had better memory than most people in my age group. I try and exercise my brain and commenting here on propeller is helping, I think.
