        I was never for the sanvtions.......sanction against dictators like Saddam never work......dictators will always get around them as evidenced by the UN FOOD FOR OIL SCANDAL....your response seems to indicate that you agree with Albrights statement."500,000 Dead Iraqi Children Was Worth It.........

          so you'd be for dropping sanctions against Cuba.. yea right..

          but the way it was DADDY BUSH that pushed for and got the sanctions.. against Saddam..

          and those UN resolutions are the very reasons we went to the war you so whole heartily back..

        The irony being that the admin that you supported then decided that wasn't enough so he rationalized for 6+ years on why he decided to go to war over Iraq.

        I guess the friendly fire and collateral damage wasn't useless and wasteful enough. Add a few trillion to the debt.

        What a measure of a successful presidency.

          I didn't like Clinton either...not one bit.

          One crime does not dismiss another.

          Sooner or later we must clean our house.

          Let the blame lay where it falls. No scapegoats, no bullshot...just accountability under the Law.

            You know pc, some of us demonstrated not only against US invasion and occupation before the war in Iraq, but also against UN sanctions that were pushed by Bush I in 1990 and which were precisely the reason why UN instituted Oil For Food Programme in 1995 under Clinton.
