The economy is in bad shape now. Imagine if drugs were legal. All those street corned drug dealers would be unemployed or underemployed at places like Walmart. They might be forced to return to school which would cost taxpayers money.

Also consider all the free time the police would have. Sure they could focus on other crimes but moral issues like drugs and prostitution are whats important. Most likely some police and DEA people would lose their jobs too and would be competing with drug dealers for other jobs.
Let's keep drugs Illegal. It's good for the economy and BMW sales.
