Well, considering that the government allowed terrorism in the form of 9/11, and possibly Britain has engaged in false flag operations it is too bad that big brother benefits. I personally think the British are going way overboard.

Can someone explain to me why it's such a horror if the goverment listens in on your private life, but nary a whimper is heard when private enterprise is allowed to take it's place, and do the same thing, for profit! What is it that makes them so much more trustworthy?

For that matter, did you read the intro to the story?
