From the new album Together Through Life
Well I love ya pretty baby
You're the only love I've ever known
Just as long as you stay with me
The whole world is my throne
Beyond here lies nothin' ,nothin' we could call our own
Well I'm movin' after midnight
Down boulevards of broken cars
Don't know what I'd do without her
Without this love that we call ours
Beyond here lies nothin', nothin 'but the moon and stars
Down the street there's a window
A heavy window made of glass
Well keep on lovin' pretty baby
For as long as love will last
Beyond here lies nothin ' bout ' the mountains of the past
While my ship is in the harbour
And the sails are spread
Listen to me pretty baby
Lay your hand up on my head
Beyond here lies nothin', nothin' done and nothing said

Of course I have to prop it,it's the genius Bob Dylan and I love him.Yet in all honesty it'd just a basic 12 bar bluesy rock number.I wonder if I would have like it,if it had been some unknown? Then Bob's more recent recordings, have never been the poetry of days long past. However, he's songs have been the soundtrack of my life,so Bob rock on and on and on,your one of a kind!

I dunno...this kinda grabs me:
Down every street there's a window
And every window's made of glass
We'll keep on lovin' pretty baby
For as long as love will last
Beyond here lies nothin'
But the mountains of the past

Man, remember when REAL rock'n'roll was on the radio? Not this s**t everyone listens to today - all those Metallica and Korn wannabes - but REAL music!

Everyone who has paid attention to my music posts knows I have very eclectic tastes. I just love good music and I'm thrilled when I find something new like this!-

The lyrics are a wee bit generic, but I love the atmospheric, neo-Fifties music, with Dave Hidalgo's accordion dancing in and out of the verses. Of course I ordered the CD. In fact I shelled out for the crazy deluxe edition, complete with extra discs, DVD, bumper sticker, decoder ring, etc.

Thank you for posting the video - I heard an ad for the album this morning & the bit they played blew me away - Dylan like fine wine has improved with age I love the grittiness & depth of his voice that he never really had before. Dylan is for the ages
