Former Army Interrogator Offers To Waterboard Sean Hannity! »
Posted By jovial 6 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsSean Hannity recently trivialized waterboarding on one of his recvent shows. He agreed to be waterboarded himself for charity. Now he seems to be backing up from that position, even though Olbermann has offered a thousand dollars to military charities for every second he lasts. He also offered a bonus of thirty thousand dollars if Hannity, after being waterboarded, admits that it was torture. Hannity so far has backed off his earlier statement. See the video.

Yes.. and throw in RUSH and Beck..
Reply
imagine the money that could raise... a 1 hour pay per view...
and since it's not torture.. give them an incentive.. the one that lasts the longest gets a million dollars extra for his favorite charity..... that could raise more money than Jerry Lewis has in all of his years...-

I wouldn't want to watch it, but Sean did open his big mouth about it on national TV, and did say he would donate monies to charities. Is he going to go thru with it, or avoid ever talking about it again?
Reply
Well, Sean, put up or shut up...but if you don't go thru with it, you'll be letting down a lot of people, those against you, and those for you.
Like Olbermann said...show us you're a man of your word, or at least a man. -

Snowe calls Specter move 'devastating'
Reply
Sen. Olympia Snowe said the Republican Party never learned its lesson from the 'painful' party switch of Sen. Jim Jeffords in 2001.
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Sen. Olympia Snowe — one of the three moderate Republicans including Arlen Specter who supported President Obama's stimulus package — told CNN Tuesday that she has also been approached many times about becoming a Democrat, but that it hasn't happened for a while.
"I've been asked, but not recently," she said.
Snowe said the Republican Party never learned its lesson from the "painful" party switch of Sen. Jim Jeffords in 2001.
"For me personally and then for the party, its devastating," Snowe said of Specter's move. "I've always been concerned about the Republican party nationally, about their exclusionary policies towards moderate Republicans. That's not a secretly held view on my part."

THE GOP IS THE PARTY THAT CLAIMS TO HAVE CHRISTIAN "FAMILY VALUES," but promoted the TORTURE OF PRISONERS, in violation of international law, according to THE INTERNATIONAL RED CROSS.
Reply
There are many sources for that fact. Here’s one:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/03/16/terror/m...
And still, they try to deny that it happened or otherwise “cover” for it.
(The GOP is also the party of sex offenders Larry Craig and Mark Foley, graft expert Ted Stevens, convicted dirty trickster and burglar G. Gordon Liddy, lobbyist and GOP bribery expert Jack Abramoff, etc., etc.)
REPUBLICANS: THE PARTY OF FAMILY VALUES, BANKER BAILOUTS, CONVICTED FELONS, COVER-UPS AND TORTURE!

This is fantastic! If he doesn't go through with it, he's a hypocrite. If does go through with it, it will be Youtubed and Hannity will be permanently humiliated. After we hear his screams on the internet, he will have to pretend it wasn't that bad. This guy is really dumb. Oh Hannity! You've really done it this time! Its going to be a long time before you get the taste of foot out of your mouth.

Christopher Hitchens of Vanity Fair already did this.

Maybe Hannity saw this and chickened out.

I don't think this would have not been used as a means of torture if it was "not that bad of a procedure". I don't know exactly where this act was dubbed "torture", but from the video, it seems rightfully so. Hannity, common, you're man enough to try it if some dude from Vanity Fair did. Step up. -

Mister super patriot Hannity will of course allow himself to be waterboarded to show America that waterboarding is just a walk in the park. I mean Hannity is such a brave, courageous person and he'd never go back on his word, would he? lmao.

its not just the act. its all the circumstances surrounding it. knowing its a simulation, as opposed to being totally confused and scared, is a BIG difference.

so, someone should REALLY torture Hannity. snatch him from his house in the middle of the night with a burlap sack over his head. make him think he's been taken by some left-wing paramilitary group like AmeriCorps (thats a joke cons). let him think he's being driven for hours to a secret location. then have masked gunmen smack him around a bit then waterboard him.
just think how embarrassed hannity will be after he finds out he's been punk'd. he'll have helluva time explaining why he crapped his pants.
then we'll see what hannity the doosh thinks about waterboarding. -

Hannity should be placed in a small room full of ankle deep diarrhea dripping from the bleeding cyst of Oxy Limpballs, and then waterboarded with copious urine which I will be glad to provide.

Of course, everyone realized he has his head so far up the rectum of Roger Ailes and Murdock, that he thinks flatulence is fresh air. -

So far, ONLY ONE TV NETWORK (to my knowledge) has clearly and publicly denounced torture. (It's MSNBC.)
Reply
ALL OF THE OTHERS, as far as I can tell, have been acting and continue to act as TORTURE APOLOGISTS, at best remaining silent or even allowing people like Dick Cheney to try to justify and/or deny the fact that the United States DID TORTURE PRISONERS. That is not just according to me... it's according to The International Red Cross.
Here's one online source for that info... there are many more: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/03/16/terror/m ...
Please do three things:
1. Contact any three news organizations that have failed to denounce torture and tell them that their editorial silence on torture is immoral and unacceptable.
2. Search the recent postings on Digg that contain the word "torture" and vote them up (as long as they're not trying to deny the facts or justify the use of torture.)
3. Spread this message.
Many Americans don't buy the explanation that torture is okay if it gets valuable information, believing instead the torture is simply WRONG. Torture also gets prisoners to say what they think you want to hear... NOT to necessarily tell you the truth. -

Many regard the use of the a-bomb on Japan as a blot on US history, similar to the bombing of Dresden. There are many questions:
Reply
Did the armament factories in Hiroshima really qualify it as a 'military target'? What about the already heavily-damaged ship yards in Nagasaki? Why was ground zero at Nagasaki far closer to the residential area of the city rather than the ship yards? Why use two bombs? Wouldn't one have been sufficiently horrifying?
There is little doubt the use of these terrible weapons hastened Japan's surrender and saved countless American lives, but was the death of over 200,000 mostly civilian Japanese men, women and children worth it?

the problem with Hannity being waterboarded is that even if he "makes it through" he knows, that no matter what, they're not going to kill him. This gives him an internal resolve that can help people resist or deny it's torturous effects. If Hannity ACTUALLY thought that the people who did it were going to kill him or might kill him, that emotional piece could put it over the edge..and then he would become like anyone else...he'd say anything just to stay alive and make crap up if he had to get them to stop...
